There are several types of 1099 forms. What kind do you have or are expecting?
The most common 1099 forms are:
- 1099-NEC - nonemployee compensation
- 1099-MISC - miscellaneous
- 1099-G - government payments (such as unemployment and state refund)
- 1099-R - distributions from retirement accounts
- 1099-INT - interest paid
- 1099-DIV - dividends paid
