It sounds like you have no income to report this year and as a result, Turbo Tax won't be able to efile because there is nothing to report. Let's try to outsmart the program and make this work so this annoying error will disappear.
- Go to federal>income and expenses>all income>>show more
- Less Common Income> Start
- Miscellaneous Income,>start
- Other reportable income>start
- Next screen asks Any Other Taxable Income>yes
- The next screen will allow you to report the income with a brief explanation.
- Here you can enter $1 worth of income with an explanation stating you are adding this. For explanation, just say for efile purposes.
