I am still getting the same error with my New York State return. When I opened TruboTax today there was no update to download. I went to the online tab and manually attempted to update but was told that i was currently up to date. The error message that i am getting is the following:

Pension/Annuities?IRA Worksheet: Govermental pensions exclusion-Taxpayer is not a valid amount. Please remove the amount and go back to federal 1099-R to make the appropriate choice for the source of each distribution.

At this spot I have the same number that is on my 1099-R box 1. The following entry #3 is the Federal Taxable amount which is $6 less. Any ideas on how or what to enter to make this work? It appears that TurboTax is clueless and really does not care to fix this.
