Hi, thanks very much for your suggestions. By "overpaid" I mean that the company claimed that part of the 401K funds were not vested and thus I needed to pay it back to them. Fidelity only issued a 1099-R with a distribution code 1 - early withdrawal, no known exceptions. I will try to get a letter from the company, thanks!
