The 1099 form has multiple uses.  Here are some common examples, and how to post them.  Please include a follow-up question for additional information.

 

  • 1099-DIV
    • Start at Income & Expenses
    • Select Dividends on 1099-DIV
    • Yes you did receive Dividends
    • Continue on next page
    • Enter your bank name
    • Continue with Import or select Change how I enter my form
  • 1099-INT
    • Start at Income & Expenses
    • Select Interest on 1099-INT
    • Yes you did receive Interest
    • Continue to next page
    • Enter your bank name
    • Continue with Import or select Change how I enter my form
  • 1099-B
    • Start at Income & Expenses
    • Select Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other
