Retirement tax questions

it depends on whether or not you have a spouse. If you have a spouse who has a RMD requirement for this year, then Turbo Tax will inset a 5329-S form.  Conversely, if you have a RMD requirement, yours would appear as a 5329-T indicating you are the taxpayer filing the return.

Also, if your spouse took an early withdrawal, a 5329 is issued to a taxpayer to report additional taxes on IRAs, other qualified retirement plans, modified endowment contracts, Coverdell ESAs, QTPs, Archer MSAs, or HSAs. Please review this IRS link for further details. i couldn't find any details on the reference code you provided but if your spouse does not fit the parameters I listed above, please go to tax tools>tools>delete a form>delete 5329-S.

Also, if you fit any of the parameters listed above instead of your spouse, check your entries to make sure it's your 1099 reported and not your spouses.  Hopefully, this helps.
