Retirement tax questions
It depends on the menu path you performed when you reported your 1099 RRB. Did you follow this path when you reported this?
- Wages and income>retirement plans and social security>Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099)
- You will now reach a page that asks if this is a social security benefit or Railroad Retirement benefits (Form RRB-1099)
- Your amount of your 1099 RRB is not included in your adjusted gross income for the State of Delaware if reported as outlined above..
- You may have mistakenly entered this as IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R). If this is the case, delete the entry and enter this as Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099) as directed.
