Did you collect Unemployment?  Unemployment compensation is generally taxable income to you, so Form 1099-G gives you the amount of unemployment benefits you must report on your tax return.

 

If you did not collect Unemployment, & received a 2019 state refund, credit or offset of state or local income, that amount will be shown in Box 2 of your 1099-G form.
