Received 1099-r for distribution from 457b, had to take 2 distributions over the course of 2019. One 1099 has box 7 marked correctly as 2, the other has box 7 marked incorrectly as 1. I do believe distributions from a 457b is not penalized (though ordinary income tax is levied). Do I need to request a corrected 1099r from PAYER and file an amended return, or can I simply say both distributions should be using distribution code 2?
