Retirement tax questions

How many of us are there, experiencing this? TurboTax, we need your help! Has ANYONE who used the TT quick portal gotten theirs? I came here to find out. I sent my info via the free, "quick" TurboTax Stimulus Submission portal on April 7th--6 weeks ago!--and TurboTax said my submission was "accepted by the IRS," but I've received NO stimulus payment via direct deposit or check, and daily I receive the "Payment Status Not Available" message on the IRS' website portal. (The IRS page and help section just leads me/us around in circles. None of their info is helpful when it comes to troubleshooting, our hands are tied because we used TurboTax.) I'm totally helpless--have no way of contacting the IRS, nor can I contact TurboTax to figure out what happened, and my accountant said that the IRS is not accepting amended returns yet (the TurboTax submission counted as a mini "return"), and EVERYONE I know has received their stimulus, including people who filed after me. It is a NIGHTMARE.

 

I deeply regret using the TurboTax portal as it created a huge MESS, I'm totally in the dark, and don't have the stimulus I desperately need. I'm tempted to use the IRS' "non-filers" page just to get them the info, but that might make my situation worse. Also, when I print out the TurboTax PDF copy of my quick stimulus submission "return" (that says everyone makes $1 as the standard), it has NO direct deposit info listed, even though I entered and double-checked it 5 times and selected that's how I wanted my stimulus. The irony is that TurboTax said they created this special portal to send one's info to the IRS in order to get our stimulus quickly, and this is the exact opposite and a disaster of epic proportions. Help! SOS
