I was hopeful but that didn't work for me. I turned 2FA off and rebooted the laptop.
It still comes back with the 1099B error message. I guess it depends on what problem you were having.
With 2FA on, I was able to import my 1099R. Now that more tax forms are available, I can't import them.
What was the error message you were receiving before you turned off 2FA?
