Thanks for 'confirming' I'm not the only one with major questions about TT's potentially monster size Security problem!  (Including the strangely misleading comment by pdenby trying to they Rep TurboTax).

 

In a couple weeks I plan on creating a dummy return (like you did) to test out the Import function again to see if the Import function has been fixed (both  the ability to Import my and my wife's Fidelity 1099's and especially the Login Security issue).  I will report back afterwards.

 

BUT, in the meantime, I've sent an internal message to Fidelity regarding what appears to be a huge security issue.  As I've been with Fidelity for 40 years - and have a significant amount of $$$ with them - I expect a response pretty soon. (I specifically requested their 'Digital Specialist' Call me.)  I'll also report back here after I hear from them.
