Yeah, if this persists for 2022 tax year, I plan on using that last method (using the "summary" entry and then uploading the PDF separately) next time.
For this year, I just decided to print the thing and mail that in today and pay via MA TaxConnect which wasn't so bad. Still, disappointing that I had to do this instead.
Overall, my customer impact was partial loss of product value in that:
* I was able to file my Federal Taxes via e-File
* I was able to use TT's GUI to make a printable tax return and mail that to MA DOR
* I was NOT able to file my MA Taxes via e-File
Would this stop me from using the product again? No. But would it affect a NPS survey given to me? Absolutely. My mood on the given day would probably, decide whether I slipped them a 7+ or not. Would it negatively affect my likelihood of suggesting this to others who sell options contracts? Absolutely.
