Thank you. I was not able through the California 'step by step" questions to update my California tax exempt interest. In the state "step by step" version there was a number already entered that was incorrect. There was no way to edit the number. I went to the forms version and located the tab for CA interest and dividends. I manually edited the correct numbers into that form. I then went back to the state "step by step" version and now I was able to see not only the incorrect number, but a new entry with a number that was the corrected one I had successfully changed in "forms". I then characterized my new entry as "more than 50% California bond interest". I characterized the previous entry as "less than 50% California bond interest". Now the numbers are correct.
