You do not report Box 5 Form 1099-B on your tax return. To verify follow these steps:
- Check the Box for I have other boxes on my 1099‑B to enter
- Click on the line What if my 1099-B has other boxes with info?
- You will see the following information on your screen.
"If your 1099-B includes info reported in boxes that aren’t shown here, don’t worry about entering the info. This info doesn’t need to be added to your tax return".
