Investors & landlords
This is what i had to do to solve this.
1. I do not have any royalty income. Just 1 rental property with 1 1099-misc.
2. Was with Intuit tech support for an hour and tried several different things. Nothing helped
3. Finally the tech support staff asked me to delete the Schedule E and the worksheet from my fed and state return. i said i need to save the return and hung up indicating i will do it later
4. I saved the Schedule E form and worksheets before i deleted it. I had paid for the online edition, so i was able to save the pdf files
5. I re-entered the rental property and i had the same issue again :(
6. I deleted Schedule E and Worksheets again
7. finally this is what worked. I entered the 1099-misc form. This prompted me to enter a rental property. Once I entered the data through this workflow, the review went fine with no errors.
