You do not have to complete the info in forms mode and can preview the forms in forms mode if you complete the input in the step-by-step mode.
To do this in TurboTax Desktop you can follow these steps:
- Within your tax return in step-by-step mode click on State Taxes and Continue
- Click Edit for your NY return
- Answer the questions regarding income allocations until you get to the Multi-Year Allocation screen
- The second paragraph points out you can complete one Schedule B then scroll down - on the interior of the form inset screen - to enter another
- Once you have completed the first Schedule B, click the scroll bar arrow immediately to the right of the amount shown on line 20 - this creates a new blank Schedule B
- Continue doing this until all your information is entered
- Switch to forms mode to preview your schedules by clicking on IT-203-F on the left side of the screen
- Again, to scroll through the forms use the scroll bar on the interior of the form preview
