In TurboTax (TT), enter at:
- Federal Taxes tab (Personal in Home & Business)
- Wages & Income
Scroll down to:
-Investment Income
-Stocks, mutual funds, Bonds, Other
Click "Update". On the next screen, titled "Here's all t he investment accounts we have so far", click "delete" next to the sale you previously entered.
