i incur cleaning expenses only following occupancy by renters, billed though my management company and entered on a separate line. This is a significant component of my expenses. If I enter this on the Cleaning and maintenance line costs are allocated to my personal use... (40%, approx). For truely shared costs it makes sense to share benefit by usage, but not these. Is there a way to allocate these cleaning expenses paid to my management company tp the business deduction?
