I rent 25% of my primary residence. I entered that percentage and the refinance amounts in the rental section. I saw 75% of the origin points appear as non-1098 mortgage interest on my 1040 line 8c. I thought the personal portion had to be spread out over the life of the loan. I also can't see where the rental portion of the expenses are being amortized.
