For an expert, I think your response is pretty worthless.

 

Schwab gives us 1099. 

TurboTax imports the 1099 from Schwab.

The 1099 whether imported or not has OID information (Form 1099OID)

TurboTax does not handle this situation properly. Period. And there is no real way to handle it properly using the program.,

While Renee you expert may be right that muni interest is not taxable, it still must be reported, and OID is important, and I have both in-state (not taxable state or federal) and out-of-state (non-taxable federal but taxable for state) and TurboTax cannot handle the 1099 as Schwab sends it.
