What worked was deleting the sales with the wrong dates, then reentering them one at a time. After each one, I went through the Federal Review where it allowed me to input the correct date. Had to input each one separately, then the Review. When I did 2 at the same time, both came out with the same date, one correct and the other wrong. So I guess it was just a matter of forcing TurboTax of asking me the question at the right time.
