You didn't say whether you are using TurboTax Online or the CD/Download TurboTax software. If you are using the CD/Download software you can enter investment sales in forms mode for the purpose of doing a preliminary rough draft of your tax return. Enter the sales on the 1099-B Worksheet. For planning purposes you can summarize the sales for each category instead of entering each individual sale.
