Did you enter this property as a rental property?

 

If that is the case, it is a mistake because you are renting to a family member who is not paying fair rental value. As a result, each day of use by your daughter is considered a personal use day and none of the typical rental deductions are allowed.

 

In short, the property your daughter is using should be treated as a second home; your deductions are limited to mortgage interest (subject to Schedule A limitations) and property taxes (also subject to limitations).
