I moved out of my residence and advertised my property for rent on Aug 14th 2017 on Zillow.com. Hurricane Harvey flooded my property a week later. I am still fixing the damage. I have a prospective tenant from Jan 1st 2018. Can I deduct the expenses to fix the house as rental repair? Thanks
