Enter state tax withheld at closing in the Estimates and Other Taxes Paid interview.
For a shortcut, type “estimates paid” in the search box and use the “Jump to estimates paid” link (see attached screenshot example).
Or
Enter taxes withheld at closing in the Federal portion of your return. You'll enter all your Estimates and Other taxes Paid – federal, state and local taxes – on your federal return.
To report your Estimates and Other taxes Paid in TurboTax Online, go to:
- Federal Taxes
- Deductions & Credits

- Scroll down to "Estimates and Other Taxes Paid"
- Select "Other Income Taxes Paid in 2017" Click on Start or Revisit
- Select "Withholding not already entered on W-2 or 1099"
