The good news is I can return it to Amazon unopened with no difficulty. My taxes are simple enough that I can do it all on paper without much issue. I use Quicken out of laziness and speed only. If I have to do parts myself (arguably the most complex parts compared to the rest of my taxes) then I may just save the entire purchase amount.
Intuit made a bus Ness call taking it out of Deluxe to put in Premeir a couple years back, I will make my own call this year to go back to how I used to do them before becoming a ~20? year customer of TurboTax.
