Signed quitclaim deed of rental property that was split 50/50 with ex. Ex wanted to keep property in lieu of selling and I signed over with no profit.

We signed the quitclaim deed in 5/2015 but split all expenses and tax deductions throughout all of 2015.  Stepped away from all ties on 1/1/2016.  When I put in end date of property 1/1/16 we receive a significant refund.  I want to make sure this being done accurately.
