In TurboTax, you can enter your
form 1099-MISC for rents and royalties by following these steps:
- In
TurboTax, open your tax return
- Click
on Federal Taxes, then on Wages &
Income on top of the screen
- On the next page, click on I'll choose what I work on
- On the Income Summary page, scroll down to the section Rental properties and Royalties and
click Start next to Rental Properties and Royalties (Sch E) (see attached screenshot).
