What are the tax consequences of converting a property from personal use (with some rental income) to solely rental use this year?
We use it in the summer, and rent to students the rest of the year. Turbo Tax does not allow us to show a loss on this property because we designated it as a vacation home, and we had a loss in 2018 I would like to claim.
