You would enter as other income on your 2016 tax return. Here are the steps:
In the TurboTax Desktop program,
- Across the top, select tab Federal taxes
- Scroll down to the last section -Less Common Income -select Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C- Start
- On the next screen, scroll down to Other Reportable Income- Start to follow the prompt
