are answering the question only with
respect to the portion of the home that was rented, not the portion that
was your personal residence.
For example, if you rented a bedroom in your home, you would
enter the number of days that it was rented and the number of days that you
used that bedroom for personal purposes.
If you held it available for rent only and did not use it personally
when it was not rented, then your personal use days would be 0. Either way, the total of rented and personal
days cannot exceed 365.
