To see the question about whether your royalty is Qualified Business Income, use these steps:
- Using the search box at the top of the screen, enter 'royalty', the click 'jump to royalty' that comes up in the results
- Answer Yes to review your rental and royalty information
- Move forward until you get to the Rental and Royalty Property Summary page
- Click Edit beside your royalty name
- Click Done with Royalty Property
- Continue through the follow-up screens until you see the question regarding Qualified Business Income
