Instead of entering at the 1099-Misc screen, Enter at:
- Federal Taxes tab
- Wages & Income
Scroll down to:
-Misc Income, 1099-A, 1099-C
- On the next screen, choose –
Other reportable income
-For description enter Other income (or "personal property rent", if more appropriate) in box # (whichever box your income is in) of 1099-Misc. It goes on line 21 (Sch 1) of
form 1040.
