I have a rental condo, for which i bought a new dishwasher for $430.67. do i list this as a repairs/maintenance expense or under asset/depreciation section?

does listing under one section help reduce my taxable income on the rental property, it was a new dishwasher purchased, but its not a very valuable "asset", i consider it more maintenance/repair, and i don't understand the questions TT was asking me about asset/depreciation when i listed it under that section.
