Is this a "distribution"? How do I report a land transfer in TurboTax Business Desktop?
TurboTax asks "Did the estate make any distribution"? The screen defines "distribution" as "the dispersal of income earned during the year" or "distributions made from the original assets or principal left by the decedent."
What is land?? I got no money and haven't sold it. Answering yes to "Did the estate make a distribution" puts $6,000 on Schedule B line 9 ("income required to be distributed currently")
This is not "income"
