Perhaps a dumb question, but are you certain you chose your (correct) fiscal year and not a calendar year? I'm not sure but I believe the program defaults to the latter.
Also, can you go into Forms View and look at your Asset Entry Worksheet (or whatever it is called in TT Business)? The recovery period should appear on that form or one similar to it.
