Kentucky Form 4562
I am having a difficult time with TurboTax Desktop. Kentucky has a natural disaster extension until November, so we're still good for 2024. I have been using a CPA but like to do my own taxes as well.
My question is how do I get TurboTax to create my "Kentucky Form 4562". The Federal 4562 has already been created by TurboTax in my return but Kentucky requires there own 4562 and it has not created it. I know KY has different rules for depreciation but that's not the problem. When necessary (AND IT IS HERE) Kentucky requires you file both the Federal and State 4562 forms in order to show the difference in the bonus treatments.
The Kentucky Form M is split into two parts. One is addition where the federal 4562 is entered on line 3 and the second part is subtraction where the state 4562 is entered on line 12.
One problem is not only is the Federal form 4562 (it's correct on my federal return) depreciation NOT entering my Kentucky Form M line 3 correctly but Two the State return isn't entering its depreciation on line 12 and Three NO Kentucky State form 4562 is being generated.
I hope I explained this correctly.
Any suggestions?
