Minnesota requires a CRP or an RPA in order to claim the credit.  You can go here to request an RPA - they won't send it to you unless you request it.

 

Until you have the form you can't get the renter's credit.  So you may want to file without the rent for the first apartment and then come back and amend the return to get the rest of the credit later.
