You can generally add up all the interest from your multiple I Savings Bonds and report it as a single input in TurboTax. Here's how to do it:

  1. Calculate Total Interest: Add up the interest from all your I Savings Bonds. Generally wait until you have received an 1099-INTs - then enter each 1099-INT separately - Either way you can use the instructions below
  2. Enter in TurboTax:
    1. Log in to TurboTax and open your tax return.
    2. Use the search box (magnifying glass icon) at the top right, type "1099-INT," (no 1099-INT - type Savings Bonds) and click on the "Jump to 1099-INT" link
    3. Enter Interest Information: Enter the total interest amount in Box 3 (Interest on U.S. Savings Bonds and Treas. Obligations). You can use a single entry for the total amount - if you didn't received 1099-INTs
