Yes, if you use a dwelling unit as a residence and rent it for fewer than 15 days, don't report any of the rental income and don't deduct any expenses as rental expenses.
You use a dwelling unit as a home during the tax year if you use it for personal purposes more than the greater of:
- 14 days, or
- 10% of the total days it is rented to others at a fair rental price.
Note that if you take the deduction for the business use of a home office, you cannot use the Augusta Rule.
