Yes and no are the answers to your questions, and sorry for not getting this info across. Late yesterday I got to Intuit tech support.. after a long screen-sharing session with their front-line and engineering layers, the diagnosis was that TurboTax was indeed ignoring 3 of my 5 1099-INT worksheets, and likely this was due to their experience that the program has trouble if the number of downloaded INT and DIV files exceeds some maximum amount (a number which didn't seem clear to them). Anyway, after deleting one worksheet and inputting the interest info manually (which I had intended to try after getting some kind of diagnosis), ALL THREE appeared in my Schedule B and the numbers there and in my 1040 were correct. So this was down to some kind of Turbo Tax weirdness. Thanks again for you help with this!
