Investors & landlords
You can delete the forms that may contain a carryover position from previous years.
These may include:
- Exercise of Stock Options Worksheet
- Form 8949
- Schedule D
You can search for these forms in the Delete procedure.
Select Tax Tools
- Hint: You may have to minimize tabs for both Federal & State
- On the drop-down select Tools
- On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
- This will give you all of the forms in your return
- Scroll down to the form you want to delete
- Select the Form
- Click on Delete.
Be aware, other investment sales or form 1099-DIV that you posted this year may be on these forms. Confirm their accuracy when you complete the delete process.
