I work for a company based in Oklahoma but I am a resident of Texas and have never worked in OK. My W-2 from this company shows an OK state tax. I am trying to finish up my taxes on TurboTax but am stumped at the Adjustments to Income portion. It is indicating that I need a Federal Schedule 1, but according to Schedule 1 it is not for State Tax listed on a W-2. TurboTax also shows a Federal Amount that is different than the OK State Tax shown on my W-2. It is nearly impossible to contact TurboTax except through chat with an AI. I've left my phone number this morning for them to call me, but they haven't. I hope someone on here will be able to provide some insight to my problem.
