I encountered same problem
i went to back page where Charles Schwab tax exempt bond information is there, there I saw the amount is written in bracket, that means it is negative amount.
sorry I changed our amount to - , and error disappeared!
last year Edward jones did mistake like that!
so the brokerage companies can make mistakes!
