Yes, you are correct.  The actual 1099-S is not an entry page, you will simply enter your sales information (Selling price, selling expenses, cost and dates of sale and acquisition).  Once completed you have done all you need to do,

 

  • Select as noted: Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other > Other > Continue to enter the sale of your second home.
