By the end of January 2024, or so, you should receive form 1095-A for your ACA coverage. You will use that form to complete Federal Form 8962 which must be included with your Federal 1040. Based on your entries Turbotax will optimize between the standard deduction and itemized deductions for Federal/State. Omission of that form will result in your return being rejected. We need to know your state to answer those questions.
