Yes, you can return to the 1099-DIV screen and correct the state. This is how to do that:
- Open your return and select Federal on the left side menu.
- Select Wages & Income.
- Scroll down and find Investments and Savings (1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-K, Crypto), click Edit/ Add to the right.
- Find the 1099-DIV you need to correct.
- Expand it by clicking the down arrow to the right.
- Click the gray Edit box.
- Correct the information here.
