You should be able to edit the original 1098-T to reflect what the corrected 1098-T reports in the TurboTax program.
Go to:
- Federal Taxes
- Deductions & Credits
- Under "Your tax breaks" should be

Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T) click Edit/Add
- Click Edit next to your name
- Click on the first (top) edit box next to Tuition
- Next screen should read "Did you get a 1098-T?" click Yes and Continue
- On the next screen you can edit box 5.
If you are still having trouble, you can delete the form and start over:
Click My Account on top blue banner
Tools
On "Tools Center" scroll down to "Delete a form"
Scroll down to 1098-T and click delete
