2017 is the first year that my child has been enrolled in a university working toward a 4 year degree. I noticed that your information states that this tax break only goes through 2017. Did the recent tax law that was just passed recently carry this credit past 2017 to 2018 and beyond? Is there some new tax credit for full time students in the new tax law or did it just end? I need to know so I can determine for next year (2018 and beyond) if I should change my withholdings.
